Yoga for Office Bodies with Marcy Null (click here for bio)

Tuesdays 6-7pm

Long hours, demanding physical labor, and stress make yoga’s health benefits vital for everyone. Science is proving yoga reduces back pain as well as stress and has been shown to improve employee well-being and productivity.  "Yoga for Office Bodies" is approximately 1 hour in length, with a style that focuses primarily on breath and gentle stretching (that is to say, participants are welcome to wear street clothes as it won’t be a vigorous class).  

Marcy is certified in Forrest Yoga, a style that does not require strength or flexibility; it only requires that you bring a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly.   As a beginner to Forrest Yoga, you will learn to breathe deeply and connect in feeling with your body. As you progress, you will become more proficient at safely tailoring each pose to work best for you.

This drop-in style class is ongoing. Advance sign-up is not required.

Fee: $28/single class or 5 classes for $125

Yoga for Low Back Health with Lynda Jo Shlaes (click here for bio)

Thursdays 6:00-7:15pm

April 11 - May 16


Lynda Jo will guide your gentle movement through a series of poses specifically chosen to support the flexibility, strength, and mobility of the low back. This class may be particularly appealing to those who are looking for a slower approach to the yoga practice or who feel uncomfortable in traditional yoga classes.

 

Yoga for Low Back Health is a 6-class series, open to people of all levels and ages who have low back challenges and/or want to strengthen their low back.

Restorative Yoga + Soundbath Meditation Class Series

Wednesdays 6:30-7:45pm

If you have ever felt worn out and worn down by what can be a loud, chaotic world, this class might be for you! Radical Rest is all about using the gifts of sound and intentional stillness to help you rest, restore, and rejuvenate even when society tells us to keep grinding forward


Radical Rest uses crystal bowls, drums, and chimes to effortlessly guide your mind into a meditative state. Coupled with gentle restorative yoga movements, this class will support you in calming down and connecting with what your body, heart, and mind have to tell you about the state of rest in your life. You will leave each session nourished and motivated to seek out more moments of calm for yourself.


This is a class for all folks, regardless of experience.
