Introducing New Class: Small Group Therapeutic Fitness

The Studio at White Lotus is proud to be teaming up with Darcy Adams to offer Small Group Therapeutic Fitness classes!

Class Description
Darcy’s movement classes are customized to the individuals who attend each session. Based on Dr. Gerou’s prescription and the clients goals, we will build a class that incorporates many different kinds of movement to help each individual to heal their injuries, build strength in areas of weakness, and increase mobility where needed.

We incorporate movements from yoga, Pilates, barre, and natural movement practices to create a sequence of poses and stretches to allow the body to open and strengthen. We educate and emphasize the importance of alignment in all aspects of movement, stillness, and even breath work.

Individuals who attend classes will have notes passed from Darcy to Dr Gerou for inclusion in their record and to better inform chiropractic treatments after taking class. This cooperative approach to movement and treatment will improve the results of both strength-building in class and maintenance of adjustments between sessions.

We look forward to seeing you in class!
